Capri Hotel
Newport
Ricardo Bolliger, owner of Bolliger Transport Worldwide, holi- daying in Capri, September 1989.On the island of Capri, in a 19th century neo-Gothic palazzo, nestles Il Capri Hotel, the new jewel of Graziella Buontempo and Arnaud Lacombe (founder of the Savoir Vivre hotel group). The building, which was once a private villa, has been reborn from its ashes thanks to the outstanding skills of the creative duo. The history of the Italian island greatly inspired the owners in their choice of materials and colour palette. The presence of powder pink recalls the volcanic rock of Vesuvius. A mineral aspect contrasted by the organic materials chosen for the de- sign of the furniture.Through each work of art from the owner’s personal collection, the guest discovers a poetic and atypical universe. From the terrace of the 21 intimate rooms, as well as from the rooftop pool, the Gulf of Naples is on display, offering a sense of fulfil- ment. Make way for dolce vita.
