Robert Altman directs this psychological drama starring Sandy Dennis as a lonely, middle-aged woman who invites a 19-year-old boy to live with her in her apartment. After finding an unnamed teenager (Michael Burns) in a nearby rainy Vancouver park, Frances Austen (Dennis) invites him to accompany her back home.
